iPhone 6 release and design update: Another concept design video has sparked rumors about the highly anticipated 2014 Apple iPhone launch. According to an article posted March 30, 2014 at the Gotta Be Mobile website, the video gives consumers an idea of what the new smartphone may look like, and poses the idea, yet again, of a larger iPhone. Earlier rumors suggested Apple may be planning a Phablet-sized iPhone 6, but as is common with Apple releases, nothing has been confirmed about the device.
The article further speculates on the iPhone 6 release date, saying "iPhone 6 rumors suggest that the device’s release won’t come until the summer or the fall." Of course release date rumors move back and forth from Summer to Fall each year, but it does seem to intensify spec rumors, and lead to additional concept designs, which are rarely ever on point, but sometimes we get to see something close to what Apple has in the works.
This latest concept design came from SET Solutions, and was apparently modeled after all the most popular iPhone 6 spec rumors mentioned to date. The slim design measures at 6mm, thinner than the current iPhone 5s model, which measures at 7.6mm. The design is also wider and taller than the 5s, and has an edge to edge display. This iPhone 6 concept design also features a device with "Touch ID, the fingerprint reader that debuted on board the iPhone 5s, and an A8 quad-core 64-bit processor, another feature that has been rumored to be on board the real iPhone 6."
What design changes and spec upgrades are you hoping to see on the next Apple iPhone?
