Is Apple planning to announce the iPhone 6 release date earlier than previous models have been launched? For many consumers the iPhone 5 has become old news, and rumors have already started to surface about the technology companies 7th generation handset. Though the iPhone 6 release and specs are unknown, speculation has pointed to a launch time between March and June.
An article posted earlier today at PC World has revealed mock-up images of the iPhone 6 which are based off an alleged test prototype. The images, from a designer at Ciccarese Design, reveal a smartphone which appears similar to the current iPod Nano. Several images were posted by the designer who says "It's a possible iPhone 6 version, it is a remake from a test prototype description."
The article also states the designer, who has previously released mock-up photos of other Apple gadgets, has said the "next iPhone could run what he calls 'iOSX', an operating system that he thinks could fuse iOS and OS X together."
Whether the iPhone 6 release date arrives earlier this year or later, it will be interesting to see what new Apple products become available in 2013.
