For Iphone 4s users, the update to 6.1 continues to be a struggle. When the 6.1 update first launched last month, it became a mass headache in terms of internet connectivity and network issues. Apple has since released an update 6.1.1 but it continues to be an issue for Iphone 4s users and according to CNET, the update has replaced the previous problems for battery issues. Users are now complaining that their battery has been draining since they downloaded the new update and are already looking forwards to iOS 6.1.2.
There have always been minor issues when new operating systems have come along, but this one seems to be a big headache that won't end. The network carrier Vodaphone had to send out messages to its users telling them not to update or there would be issues with internet connectivity and their ability to send text messages. According to CNET, the update because such a problem that some companies blocked the update on their enterprise systems to ensure that Microsoft exchange email problems didn't become a huge problem for employees.
One user has complained that their battery drained 10% while being on standby for just an hour. Other Iphone users so far have not reported issues with the update. There is no word when or if Apple plans to release 6.1.2 for Iphone 4s.
