Some of the screens you will encounter with the email app.

Sometimes setting up an email account on the iPhone can be tricky but if you follow these instructions it will be a snap:

Before you start, make sure you have the latest software update on your iPhone.  Here is a link describing the 3.0 update.

1.  Unlock the iPhone and go the first page on the menu.

2.  Go to the settings app.

3.  Scroll down to the third set of boxes to find the Mail, Contacts, Calanders tab and click on it.

4.  Under the Accounts tab click Add Account

5.  Select your email provider from the list.  If you don't have any of these providers then click on Other.

6.  Enter in all of the information needed on all the tabs.  Remember this information will all be case sensitive meaning there is a difference between capital and lower case letters.  There is also a difference between numbers and symbols (1 and !).

7.  After all your info is hit in click on Save on the blue banner on the top of the screen.

8.  Enjoy getting email on your iPhone!  If you want to add more than one account repeat the instructions.  Add Account should be under your already registered account.
