Ioxus nabs another competitor executive
Ioxus is definitely on the go this year with yet another appointed new team member, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Brendan Andrews who comes straight from itsIoxus’ competitor, Maxwell and Michael Leiber as the regional director of sales.
The gist is that Ioxus is not resting on its laurel. Strong with its innovative ultracapacitor technologies for the military, transportation and alternative energy markets, the company announced today the appointment of energy storage veteran, Brendan Andrews as vice president of marketing and sales, as well as former Maxwell Technologies’ Sales Manager Michael Leiber as the regional director of sales. Both Andrews and Leiber have great experience in this field with proven success in this market. They will only add to Ioxus already impressive team.
Who Will Do What? Andrews will be responsible for the leadership and coordination of Ioxus’ sales and marketing functions, as well as educating the global market regarding existing and future ultracapacitor technologies. Previously, Andrews served as Maxwell Technologies’ director of sales and marketing for America, as well as was responsible for sales and marketing activities in North and South America. He also held management positions with Arcotronics Group and KEMET Electronics Corporation.
Leiber will help expand Ioxus’ sales and marketing focus globally, including the all-important global distributor network. He helped successfully generate interest and increase the company’s current and potential customer base at Maxwell Technologies and held positions at United Chemi-con and BC Components.
