Iowa Football: Ticket packages for 2014 season now on sale

Three-game football ticket packages are being offered this upcoming season by the University of Iowa athletic department.

And those packages went on sale on Monday.

The three games included in the package depends on you the fan.

One of the games in everyone’s package is the Ball State game on September 6. Fans can select the final two games.

The second game in the package will include one of the following teams: Northern Iowa, Indiana and Northwestern. The final game will consist of either the Heartland Trophy game against Wisconsin or the Hy-Vee Heroes game against Nebraska on Black Friday.

The cost of the three-game package is $177. Fans can make their purchase online at hawkeyesports.com by clicking on the “Buy Tickets” link in the upper right hand corner of the home page and then “Iowa Football Tickets” on the following page, or they can call 1-800 IA-HAWKS.

Purchases can also be made over the phone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS or in person at the UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The University of Iowa Athletics Ticket Office is still accepting season ticket orders to the home games of the nationally ranked Iowa football team. General public season tickets cost $395 each.

Iowa opens the season Saturday, Aug. 30, against instate rival Northern Iowa. The Hawkeyes also entertain Ball State on Sept. 6 prior to squaring off against Iowa State in the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series game on Sept. 13.

Iowa’s 2014 home schedule against Big Ten Conference opponents includes games with Indiana (Oct. 11), Northwestern (Nov. 1), Wisconsin (Nov. 22) and Nebraska (Nov. 28).

The Hawkeyes return 14 starters and are expected by many to challenge for the Big Ten’s West Division title, which would earn the team an opportunity to advance to the 2014 Big Ten Championship, Saturday, Dec. 6, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
