The Iowa Event Center announced yesterday that the Eagles would bring their History of the Eagles Tour to Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday, September 6 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event will be $49.50 to $179.50, and they may be purchased at the Wells Fargo Arena box office and all Dahl's Tickets outlets starting on Friday, March 28 at 10 a.m.
Known for enduring hits like "Hotel California", "One of These Nights", "Life in the Fast Lane", "Take It Easy", "Heartache Tonight", and "Take It to the Limit", the Eagles are one of the best-selling bands of all time, having sold over 120 million albums worldwide. The band's Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) has sold more than 29 million copies by itself, earning it the Recording Industry of America's "Best Selling Album of the Century". They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2001. The Eagles have won six Grammy Awards and have amassed five #1 singles and six #1 albums. Altogether, the band has had 23 singles crack the Top 20 of the Pop, Adult Contemporary, and Country charts. The band's current tour is in support of their career-spanning documentary History of the Eagles which was released last year.
