The Iowa Energy went down to the Sioux Falls Skyforce 110-103 last night before an announced crowd of 5,187 people.  This makes it two straight losses for the Energy moving their record to 30-8.

Stats don't lie and they weren't an ally of the Energy on this night.  The Skyforce's defense caused the Energy to commit 26 turnovers and held them to 22 percent from behind the arc.  The Energy  were also only able to muster 43 percent from two point range.

The Skyforce were anything but stellar from the field, only recording 14 percent from behind the arc and 41 percent from two point range.  A deciding factor was most likely found at the free throw line.  The Skyforce recorded 79 percent from the charity stripe and the Energy were only able to shoot 60 percent.

Leading the way for the Energy was Earl Barron, scoring 26 points for the night.  Curtis Stinson, again dished the ball out to his teammates ending with 10 assists.  He also scored 22 points on the night and shot 71 percent from the field.  Othyus Jeffers added 17 points in the loss while shooting 53 percent from the field, repectively.

Side note of the game;  Officials+Technical fouls= Bad news for the Energy.   Curtis Stinson, Earl Barron, Jeff Trepagnier and coach Nick Nurse were all handed technical fouls.

The Energy's next game will be this Friday, March 5.  They will visit the Erie Bayhawks, with the game starting at 6 pm.  For any additional information on the Energy, visit the official site.
