If you are one of the Iowa basketball fans that waited to purchase single-game tickets for the 2013-14 season, you may now be out of luck.
Tickets went on sale Wednesday morning and there are no tickets available, at this time, for Iowa’s home game against Michigan on Feb. 8. There are tickets remaining for home games against Notre Dame (Dec. 3), Minnesota (Jan. 19), Wisconsin (Feb. 22), Purdue (March 1 or 2) and Illinois (March 8 or 9) but they are available in single seats only.
Iowa students can still request season tickets online through hawkeyesports.com, while general public and U of I faculty and staff still interested in purchasing season tickets need to call the ticket office to receive assistance in selecting their seats. The number to call is 1-800-424-2957.
If fans are interested in any other home game, they can purchase single-game tickets online, by phone or in person at the U of I Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena during normal business hours.
Iowa’s first public appearance will be Oct. 25 when the men’s and women’s teams host the Black and Gold Blowout at 8 p.m. Tickets are only $5 for adults and free for U of I students and youth.
Even though the tickets for some are free, everyone will need a ticket to get into the game.
