ESPN will air doubleheaders from both leagues on Tuesdays during the month of January and February and also once on March 4.
Included in this national television spotlight will be the 25th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes, who will be featured three times against ranked Big Ten Conference foes.
The Hawkeyes will be at home for two of the three national televised games. The first one matchup will be the opener of a doubleheader on Jan. 28 against No. 3 Michigan State. The nightcap will feature top-ranked Kentucky visiting LSU.
Iowa finds itself in another marquee matchup on Feb. 4 when No. 8 Ohio State visits Carver-Hawkeye Arena in the opener of a doubleheader. The second game of the day pits Missouri against No. 7 Florida.
The Hawkeyes, who are coming off a season in which they reached the finals of the NIT, will take on No. 20 Indiana as part of a doubleheader on Feb. 18. Iowa-Indiana will tip off around 8 p.m. and will follow top-ranked Kentucky and Ole Miss at 6 p.m.
Other key matchups for “Super Tuesday” include No. 8 Ohio State visiting No. 3 Michigan State on Jan. 7, No. 20 Indiana visiting No. 3 Michigan State on Jan. 21 and No. 10 Michigan at No. 8 Ohio State on Feb. 11.
