Iowa Basketball: Aaron White picked for Kevin Durant Skills Camp

Iowa senior Aaron White continues to find offseason opportunities to hone his skills on the basketball court.

White has been selected to play in the 2014 Kevin Durant Skills Academy in Washington, D.C., on June 27-29.

White, a 6-foot-9 forward, is a two-time third team All-Big Ten honoree and was also named to the 2012 Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

The native of Strongsville, Ohio, became the first Hawkeye to ever amass 1,300+ points, 650+ rebounds, 100+ assists and 100+ steals prior to his senior season. White will enter his senior season in 2014-15 ranked 18th in career scoring with 1,301 points.

Since 2007, Nike Basketball has hosted the best high school and collegiate players for position skills academies along with top athletes in the NBA.

Last year’s skills academies featured many of the top prospects for this year’s NBA Draft.
