And it is.

An iOS app and an easy to navigate interface right on Shepherd's Hollow website takes most of the frustration out of making your tee time for the 42nd best public golf course in the country, right outside of Detroit.

Shepherd's Hollow is working with Club Prophet Systems and they have an iPhone app that takes all the hassle out of reserving your tee time.

Golfers can do everything through Club Prophet Systems Tee Time Reservation system which is right at the facility. App users can view the course information, get driving directions to the course, and weather conditions at the facility.

But the real benefit here is a hassle-free way to see what is available and make your tee times.

If you don't want to go the app route, you can reserve right on line easily and quickly at:

A description, per Shepherd's Hollow:

350 acres of rolling, wooded, and some would say blessed, land 30 miles north of Detroit in northern Oakland County, ownership took a less-is-more approach to what has been called "as good a piece of inland property as one has ever seen for a golf course."

It's true. Shepherd's Hollow is an unspoiled tract of land that lives up to it's billing.

At first glance, you will think the 7,236-yard, par 72 looks like a Northern Michigan golf course. It does more than other metro Detroit courses. Every hole is different and a challenge and the terrain will keep you guessing.

You will want to get out to Shepherd's Hollow this summer and the iOS app and web interface will make that possible. Give it a try.
