IOC facing backlash after banning Sarah Burke tribute sticker

The IOC has made many poor decisions over the last thirty years and now they have disrespected a fallen champion. The IOC has banned all memorial stickers that pay tribute to Sarah Burke, a pioneer of the superpipe event and a 4-time Winter X Games gold medalist in that event. She had lobbied the IOC for years to include superpipe skiing in Winter Olympics and her dream came true in 2012, when the IOC finally add superpipe skiing to the Winter Olympics for 2014.

Sadly, Sarah Burke passed away in January 2012 after a training accident in Utah. At the time of her death, she was considered the gold metal favorite in the event she worked so hard to get included in the 2014 Winter Olympics.
