You’ve never been to a pajama party like this before! There will be some freaky happenings going on at the Hotel Josephine in Holton, Kansas on Friday, April 13, 2012. Friday the 13th is the perfect setting for a ghost hunt in the old, historic hotel.
Hotel Josephine was built in 1889 and is one of the oldest hotels in Holton. President Glover Cleveland's signature can be seen on the hotel register. Some of the original furniture still adorns the two-story building.
Some of the activity reported in the hotal has been phenomenal! Guests have witnessed a picture spinning in circles on a wall, beds shaking, strange noises and EVP’s, strange lights, and the feeling of an unseen presence in the rooms. The basement area seems to be quite active. Witnesses reported that the wash machine turned on and off on its own and the dryer door opened and close in front of their eyes.
This is a ladies only event and includes; local wines and snacks, pizza, ghost stories by local authors, and a paranormal investigation led by the women of the Paranormal Research Investigator team. This unique adventure includes your food and a bed for the night—(if you need one) for only $75.
Bring comfortable clothing, soft soled shoes, and whatever investigation equipment you own. This is also an evening of fun. If you are looking for a hard-core paranormal investigation with a small group of ghost hunters, this is NOT the event for you.
