Invicta FC star Veronica Rothenhausler would survive the zombie apocalypse

According to a March 1 report from Joystiq.com, very few things will survive the zombie apocalypse.

Perhaps the only things to make it through unscathed would be some toaster ovens, cockroaches and electronics, but there's a good chance you can add Invicta FC star Veronica Rothenhausler to that list.

While it's fairly evident most of mankind would meet its untimely demise during a widespread zombie attack, Rothenhausler likes her chances for survival.

"@EricHolden dude I would wreck some zombies," Rothenhausler tweeted from her official Twitter handle, @veronicafights.

The 23-year-old featherweight got to thinking about a zombie attack after Long Island MMA Examiner Eric Holden tweeted her, explaining that she would likely have a significant height and reach advantage over the average zombie attacker.

Rothenhausler, a dangerous 145-pounder fighting out of Reno, Nev., has all the ninja skills to destroy a large zombie group, including one-punch knockout power, speed, agility and a tight submission game.

Is it smart to fight a zombie in hand-to-hand combat? Not usually, but Rothenhausler is riding a four-fight win streak, with each appearance ending in brutal knockout fashion in her favor.

Rothenhausler could easily deliver a five-second knockout to most members of the pesky brain-eating undead, much like she notched during her fights against Noelle Cherry and Ashlee Evans-Smith.

Rothenhausler's 5-foot-11, 145-pound frame would also give her the height and weight advantage over most female zombies, and her lanky frame is perfect for slipping out of trouble in the event of a large outbreak.

The sooner you catch the zombie outbreak and the sooner you sterilize, the better the chance for human survival. Doing too little, too late by too few would definitely result in human extinction.

No word yet on Rothenhausler's official plan of attack, but it seems like that she would organize a lookout to fortify her position for incoming zombie hordes, and then use her striking skills to effectively splatter zombie brains.

Luckily, Rothenhausler won't have to worry about fighting a zombie any time soon. She's set to duke it out with Mollie Estes on Apr. 5 at Invicta FC 5 in Kansas City, Missouri.
