Invader Zim turns 10 years old this year, and what better way to celebrate it than go to InvaderCON? A convention all about the cult classic Nickelodeon cartoon is being held at the Marriott Century Center on the weekend of March 26th and 27th. Pass pick up opens up on Friday, March 25th before the event. And if you buy a ticket before the 19th you can get special access to a pre-convention pannel with voice actors for Dib, Gir and Zim scheduled for that evening. The rest of the shows colorful cast will be on hand too!
Look forward to discussions on the shows production and autograph signings for the Irken invaders most die hard fans. At the convention there will be games, pannels, plenty of Invader Zim screenings as well as planned meet and greets like the "I'm makin waffles!" breafast.
While there, check the vendor area and see if anyone's selling the shows creator, Jhonen Vasquez, comic book work like Johnny the Homicidal Maniac or Squee! All of Vasquez's work is known for it's dark humor and is heavily influenced by horror films and writing. It comes highly recommended for anyone that's a fan of Invader Zim or comedy that's informed by horror movies.
