Be sure to make it out to Intuition's third annual Oktoberfest celebration Sunday October 6, 2013. 1:00pm until 8:00pm
The annual event has been moved to Memorial Park in Riverside and will be bigger and better than ever. Oktoberfest 2013 is a fundraiser for the Memorial Park Association and all proceeds will go to the organization.
Highlights to include;
The Swinging Bavarians Oompah Band
Traditional Oktoberfest songs, yodeling, slap-dancing and more.
Beer
Intuition's Oktoberfest brew and el Jefe, a traditional German hefeweizen, will be available along with some other surprises.
Food
Your ticket includes a pretzel made by local bakers Community Loaves.
Jax Truckies will have eight food trucks on-site, each serving at least one traditional German dish.
Traditional Beer Drinking Competitions
Beer stein races, pretzel toss, beer stein holding contests and more.
Dress the part
Anyone who comes dressed in authentic Oktoberfest attire gets a free pint of beer and big prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed guy and gal.
A King and Queen of Oktoberfest will be chosen again this year. The King and Queen drink for free during the event and receive free tickets to next year's celebration.
Admission
General admission tickets include a souvenir Oktoberfest stein, a free stein fill, a giant pretzel from Community Loaves, live oompah music and other entertainment.
Food is NOT included in the general admission price but there will be a variety of food trucks parked on-site serving German fare!
