The Distracted Cook - Rebecca Adams
The "Distracted Cook" is a concept developed by Rebecca Adams, a work-life balance HR consultant, to encourage people with very busy lives to cook at home, thus becoming a "distracted cook" themselves.
The visual "trademark" element of the advice column is the orange oven mitts, worn in every picture, to illustrate fitting cooking into your life, no matter what you are doing.
Advice is given through the column on topics submitted by readers to dc (at) adamsatwork.com and the most timely, interesting or widely-applicable questions will be posted with answers. The advice article is part of an ongoing series of articles written by Rebecca Adams, the Minneapolis Cooking Examiner.
"As a busy small business owner and parent myself, I hope my article demonstrates a dedication to a balanced personal and work life. I encourage my readers to pursue their passions. Mine is cooking!' - Rebecca Adams
