Tell us a little bit about yourself, anything you’d like your readers to know:
I am a mother of four awesome kids, two boys and two girls! Wife to an amazing husband who supports everything I do including my writing. I am a pediatric nurse and love everything about my job, even the sixteen hour shifts. Making cakes is a passion of mine, my laundry room has baker racks full of all my fun tools to make them pretty. I procrastinate…a LOT, deadlines are my kryptonite but I always get stuff done on time, I just wait till the last minute to do it, always have and probably always will.

What made you do decide to become an author?
One day I had an idea, started writing it down and just kept going with it. I sent the first bit to a few friends of mine and they loved it! It was on from there, I haven’t stopped since. I have always loved reading just never thought of myself as a writer.

Who are your favorite authors, and how have they influenced your writing?
Cambria Hebert is one of my favorite authors, I love her characters and that they stick with you after you’re done reading. Sarah J. Pepper is another of my top favorites, her writing style is unmatched. The adventures and worlds she takes you to will have you begging for more.

Where can we find you online?

Tell us about your book!
Persecution is about a clan of vampire-witch hybrids, called Dyphillum, that are facing extinction. Cecily is the only one that can save them from the hunters but she doesn’t even know she is a Dyphillum, but with some help from the swoon-worthy Isaac and drool-worth bad boy Julian, Cecily will be able to regain her knowledge and kick some demon butt! There is action, love, betrayal, comedy all wrapped up into this book. Hope you all enjoy!

Everyone has their idiosyncrasies, what’s yours?
If I had to guess it would be my use of headphones, I can’t write without them. If I have a Word doc open chances are I have my Beats by Dre on too (I have them on now lol)…asked a friend and she instantly came back with “You have a picture for EVERYTHING” haha, this is true, I can find a pic to fit any conversation or situation within seconds.

What’s your favorite book turned movie and why?
Harry Potter hands down! Twilight is a close second though.

What’s your favorite genre to read?
Paranormal Romance is defiantly my favorite but I will read just about anything fiction.

Which do you do more, read or write, and why?
I love to read and write so much that it’s about even with them both, if I get in the “zone” in either I will run with it and then the balance can get offset but it’s usually a 50/50.

What is your writing process like, and what’s your favorite part of it?
Hmmm…well, I love it all, especially the end when I can sit back and look at a whole new world I created. Ever author has a different way of writing, what works for me is starting at the beginning and letting the characters take the reins all the way to the end.
