Interview with the beautiful ‘Supernatural’guest actress Mishael Morgan part one

Actress Mishael Morgan talks about how the cast and crew gave her a warm welcome for her guest spot in tonight’s ‘Supernatural’ episode entitled ‘Man's Best Friend With Benefits’. Best known for her roles the films ‘Total Recall’, ‘You Got Served: Beat the World’, and TV show ‘Republic of Doyle’, the beautiful and talented young actress has plenty of work coming her way.

Q. What was it like being a guest actor on the set of ‘Supernatural’?

A. It was amazing! A little scary at first, because it was like joining a new family. Most of the cast and crew have been a part of the production since the very beginning. I knew I was entering a show with eight years of history, but I never thought they would be so close knit. But surprisingly everyone was so inviting! They all made me feel right at home! The entire production moved like a well-oiled machine, but everyone took the time to have fun! Especially Jared and Jensen; they were like two big kids! You could tell they were really doing what they love, and they never took themselves too seriously…ever…never! (laugh)

Q. From what I’ve read, you play a witch’s “familiar” who turns from a dog in to a gorgeous resource for Sam and Dean. Can you share any juicy tidbits about your character and about how the episode was filmed?

A. This character was so much fun to play. She was strong and powerful, yet soft and venerable. I really tried to embody the natural strength and innocence of a dog. Filming shows with animals is always a little tricky, but it was fun having the dogs around set. The Dobermans were gorgeous and so well trained. Even better than me at times (laugh). Some days were long, because they would have to shoot some scenes with me and then reshoot them with the dogs. I believe there was a total of 3 different dogs that were used on this episode. They were all supposed to be me, but each one had their own personality. As for juicy tidbits about ‘Man's Best Friend With Benefits’…well, I think the title speaks for itself! (hehe)
