Actress Hannah Pederson has joined the ‘Supernatural’ family with her role as Barb in last Tuesday’s episode called “Rock and a Hard Place.” As a young girl, this lovely and talented actress was swept off her feet by acting and hasn’t looked back since. Pederson can be seen next year in the upcoming love story called ‘Avelline's Window.’
Q. What can you tell us about your experience on the set of ‘Supernatural’?
A. Thank you! Honestly, the whole cast and crew was so great to work with. Many of them have been working together for years, so the chemistry between them all is so lovely to watch and to be a part of. It was a really great experience!
Q. Can you share any upcoming projects with your fans?
A. I also just finished filming a film called ‘Avelline's Window.’ It is an incredible and unique love story that will be circulating film festivals in 2014!
Q. I read all of the accents that you can do- Southern, French, Russian, and British. Very impressive. Do you happen to have any hidden talents you would be willing to share with your fans?
A. Well I actually really enjoy the stilts! I once did a show where I had to juggle, sing, and dance while on stilts. It was quite the learning process I will admit but once I got the hang of it, I didn’t want to take them off! It’s like the next level of busting a move when you just want to rock out to your favorite song!
Q. If you had not become an actress, what would you see yourself doing now?
A. I love this question and I can't help but smile when I hear it because there is nothing else I can imagine myself doing! Acting swept me off my feet as a young girl, and I am so excited to pursue a career of telling stories. I consider it a privilege to take on characters so different from myself, to live in their shoes and share their lives/their stories with the world. It is truly an honor and I look forward to doing this for the rest of my life.
Q. I'm going to end with what's become my signature question. If you were a baseball player, what would your walk up song be?
A. First off this is an amazing question! Growing up as a competitive athlete, pump up music and music in general has always been a big part of my life. The focus I would approach a soccer match with transitioned into my acting, so whether on set or in the audition room, a couple of the songs I most recently got blaring in my ears would be; Imagine Dragons-‘Radioactive’, Katy Perry-‘Roar’, anything by Macklemore, Beyonce, JT, and always before every audition Pink's-‘Glitter in the Air’.
