What makes your Kettlebell program different from the others?
I think there are several things that set the KettleWorX program apart from other kettlebell training programs. One that stands out the most for me is that in only 20 minutes, three times a week, you get full-body workouts focusing on resistance, cardio and core training. The KettleWorX workouts are the perfect combination of kettlebell and plyometric exercises. When doing the workouts you feel like an athlete. Most kettlebell programs are not designed for any BODY to do. With KettleWorX, you can be new to kettlebell training or an experience kettlebell trainer to get incredible transforming results.
How has the public responded to your 8 Week program?
The public response to the new and improved KettleWorX 8 Week Rapid Evolution program has been amazing. Participants who did the original KettleWorX workouts have told us that we've taken KettleWorX to another level. They feel more challenged and are seeing results immediately. Participants experiencing KettleWorX for the first time are saying it's one of the best at-home workouts they've ever done. They love the KettleWorX fitness formula.
I find your teaching style motivating and easy to follow, how do you motivate yourself when you need get through a workout?
My personal motivation comes from the philosophy of 'practicing what you preach.’ I use the same motivation techniques on myself that I do when I coach and train. I want to be an example to the people I train. The only way I see doing that is to 'get in the trenches' with them and know how the workouts feel. How I push myself translates into how I push others to work past their comfort zone.
What's the best way to balance out a Kettlebell program? What forms of cardio or flexibility training do you suggest?
I would classify KettleWorX as a H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training) program. It's very important to make sure you incorporate recovery (stretching and light cardio) and 'rest' days into your KettleWorX program. On days when you are not doing a KettleWorX workout I would suggest stretching to increase flexibility and help with recovery. If you have time, on non-KettleWorX training days I would also suggest going for a 20-30 minute walk or light jog. I am a big fan of incorporating at least 1 to 2 rest days into your training program. When you receive the KettleWorX 8 Week Rapid Evolution program you will get an 8-week calendar that is your 'fitness' roadmap to results.
What's next for you in 2014?
2014 is the year of TRANSFORMATION! With the recent launch of the new program, I am excited to see how many lives will change in 2014. It's my goal this year is to get this program into as many hands as possible on a global scale so that everyone can experience the transforming results of KettleWorX.
