On Feb. 12, 2014, Joni Lambert, who resides in Windsor, Conn., shared what it is like "being" Barbra Streisand. Lambert, in celebrity style, is a professional voice artist who pays tribute to Streisand in the "My Name is Barbra" show.
"I have performed as a voice artist my whole life, as myself, and now also as Barbra."
When it comes to Joni's performing and preparing for it, Examiner.com asks, "How much voice training do you have and what kind?"
"I have years of classical vocal training. People say that I do bring Barbra to life right before their eyes!"
Audiences agree that this talented singer, like that of Streisand, elicits excitement and unmistakable vocals. There is no mistake, either, when it comes to Lambert's powerful vocal control such as the song "Don't Rain on My Parade." She also touches hearts with the ballad, among others, "The Way We Were."
In addition, this talented entertainer has stage experience which is evident in her "My Name is Barbra" show. The show features Streisand favorites, but she sometimes customizes it for special events.
There is much to know about these talented women, and one of them is that both are lifetime performers. For those who do not know about award-winning Barbra Streisand here is a little of her background as well.
