Throughout this five part interview with author, trainer, and web design expert Janine Warner, Janine continues to share excellent tips and information on mobile web design, development strategies, visual layout, HTML5, CSS 3, and more. Her numerous web design books provide in-depth essentials on mobile web design and Adobe Dreamweaver, delivering the perfect way to learn:

L.C. As a long-time web design, Adobe Dreamweaver, and Cascading Style Sheets expert, you have written many best-selling books and highly acclaimed articles on Dreamweaver and web design. What made the experience of writing your most recent, fantastic book Mobile Web Design distinct from your other writing experiences?

J.W. Well, first of all, thanks for that question. I love seeing the words 'highly acclaimed' associated with my work ;-)

Mobile Web Design For Dummies was one of the most challenging books I’ve written because things changed so much as we were writing the book. That meant we had to do a lot more last-minute editing than usual, but the timing worked out in the end and many things came together in the final weeks of productions so that the book should remain relevant for a while yet.

Here’s something to keep in mind about my books: Mobile Web Design For Dummies is about designing for the broad mobile audience and making sure your site works well even on limited mobile devices such as the Motorolla Razr. I’m now writing a book called iPhone/iPad Web Design For Dummies and with this book, I'm taking a giant leap forward into the future with lots of coverage of how to develop designs with HTML5 and CSS 3.
