Elizabeth Tam (ET): Congratulations on your win in a row, are you excited?
Casey Patterson (CP): Of course, duh!
Jake Gibb (JG): I’m excited, that’s two wins in a row for us. That’s huge momentum for us going into St. Pete—we're stoked!
ET: That is Win #2 on this tour, what's next?
JG: Win 3, we don't want to stop. We're still hungry still and we want to win!
ET: Were you nervous in finals?
JG: You’re always a little nervous before finals. If you’re not nervous, you’re not human, so a little bit. But once you start playing, it’s about winning and bringing the energy
ET: The game was very close, what was going through your head?
CP: That’s how it should be against that team [Rosenthal/Dalhausser], having it close is actually where you want it to be—you would rather it be close than getting blown out. So if we're winning and we're close, we're in a good spot because we can make just one or two plays at the end and close out the match; so we're ok with it being close.
JG: That’s one of the best defensive teams in the world, so you know it’s going to be close. It was a huge win for us.
ET: What are you going to do to celebrate?
JG: In one word - RAGE!
CP: Same and DANCE!
Congratulations and thank you Jake Gibb and Casey Patterson for taking the time to speak with us.
