This is the first in a series of profiles featuring vendors and gaming guests that will be appearing at this year's I-CON sci-fi convention. Videogamesnewyork is an independent videogame store located in the heart of the East Village New York. From the game watches of the 70’s to the first systems as Odyssey, Atari, Intellivision, Colecovision, Commodore 64 to the last Ps3, XBOX 360, PSP or Nintendo DS. I had an opportunity to chat with Giulio Graziani, president of VideoGamesNewYork about his plans for I-CON.

MT: What is VideoGamesNewYork all about?

GG: We are a video games boutique specialized in import and retro, hard to find video games. From Odyssey to Ps3, domestic and Japanese. We carry some european video games too.

MT: Is this your first I-CON?

GG: We've been attending I-CON since 2006.

MT: So you're a veteran of the con. Are you unveiling anything new at I-CON this year?

GG: As always there are a lot of new stuff we introduce to every Con. Japanese games come out every week. This year we are trying to introduce to the market some japanese xbox 360 games. They are very interesting, unique in their style and most of the are region free, so they can play on US systems. We will bring Sanwa and hopefully Seimitsu parts for arcade sticks too. We are one of the few direct importers in the U.S. and they are one of our bestseller.

MT: Do your products appeal to a particular audience?

GG: Mostly anime and gaming fans. Mostly I will say Anime fans, who are the ones more into japanese video games and hard to find titles.
