During this count down there will be much preparation concerning the many FMff film festival locations, accommodations, talent, transportation, tech check for sound and video, judges, guests, food preparations, decorations, media and more.

Who better to know the details on all the above then FMff Founder and Executive Director, Eric Raddatz.

Eric, where will the screening locations be for the festival?

"The film festival (FMff) will be held March 19-23 at all locations in Fort Myers. The films will be shown at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, Alliance for the Arts and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre."

Will there be other "side events" to attend in celebrating this festival as well?

"Yes, the festival's parties and dinners will be held at Twisted Vine Bistro, a filmmakers lodge at Firestone, breakfast panels at Bennett's Fresh Roast and other select venues.

I understand that 2014 FMff's opening night will be celebrated at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at 7 p.m. Can you give us more details?

"The event will begin with excitement and style on the red carpet with paparazzi clicking and doors opening at 5 p.m. Prior to the featured movie there will be drinks, mingling and musical entertainment with local and international filmmakers."

Is there anything else you would like to share about 2014 FMff?

"It's hard to cover it all, and if I miss anything I want your readers to know that they can follow FMff at various websites (given below). Note, there will be some added attractions!...

There will be a star studded backstage afterparty where the stars of the opening night's films will be in attendance. There will also be music, dancing, delicious food and an open bar."

Thank you Eric Raddatz for sharing about FMff. We look forward to future news as the grand gala draws closer.
