Q. I read that you’re a singer/songwriter with an amazing voice. Tell your fans about your album ‘Signs of Life.”
A. ‘Signs Of Life’ is an album about love, loss and family. I had some big changes in my life in the few years it took me to make the album – I lost some dear people, I gained some new ones, and I realized more and more that your family (whether that’s your actual family, your family of friends, or even strangers if you can see all of humanity as family), is an important foundation for me as a human being. Family is one of my most important treasures in my life, and there is so much to write about in that area I made a whole album out of it!
Q. You have an impressive filmography about a mile long. Yet I noticed you had a guest spot on the TV show ‘Supernatural’ as Adam Benson. What was it like on the set of the show as a guest actor?
A. I basically did one long confession scene with Jared and Jensen, who are both very professional, very experienced, and very nice guys. We had a good time, because we knew each other outside of the show, and they are a pleasure to work with. ‘Supernatural’ films in my home town of Vancouver so it was nice to get to be at home and work with two such upstanding fellow actors.
Q. I'm going to end with what's become my signature question. If you were a baseball player, what would your walk up song be? What song pumps you up and inspires you?
A. Ha good question. I’d go with Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder, because it’s just so damn joyful and upbeat, it always gets me feeling good and inspires me that someone could create such joyful music!!!
