Buboy Fernandez is one of the more recognizable characters of boxing who trains a stable of fighters including pound-for-pound king and childhood friend Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao (51-3-2).

[ Translated ]
Marv Dumon: How did you know Manny and Bobby Pacquiao during your childhood? Were you neighbors?
Buboy Fernandez: Both of our houses were really close - they were next door to each other. The window on our house was also their window.
That's why, back in the day, we grew up together.
Marv Dumon: What did all of you do for fun prior to boxing?
Buboy Fernandez: Back in the early years, Manny was already that much into boxing, often in street fights in side alleys were kids would just take off their shirts and fight.
We just did not expect that he would reach this level - that his tendencies to fight as a kid would lead to all of this.

Marv Dumon: His fights as a kid, did he go against kids his size or bigger opponents?
Buboy Fernandez: He fought kids his own size.
Often in situations where other kids would sell bread and donuts and entered his (Manny's) territory. That caused trouble.
In those situations, you don't want to lose your sales to them. And if you are also selling (bread and donuts) and you don't buy from them, then that also causes trouble.
So you had a street fight (between Manny and the other vendors).
Marv Dumon: Was anyone ever able to beat young Manny in these fights - ever able to give bruises on his face?
Buboy Fernandez: Manny is really different from everyone else. He never allows himself to lose.

Well let us take a cue from Manny inspite of the adversity of his family a firsthand information from his childhood friend Buboy, he was able to singlehandidly defeat the odds with flying color. No one can duplicate this fate even from the time of immemorial. We could simply surmise that Manny "pacman"Pacquiao is simply unique. Now a congressman an honorable profession where ninety five percent of filipinos firmly believed that only millionaires and billionairs will faithfully become a member of this exclusive club come what may. Of course Manny is a billionaire but he earned those big bucks not from his own country albeit how steep the journey and even gamble his life upon clearing the stairway to a big bounty. I hope many filipinos can follow Manny"s luck in different fashion or endeavor.
WHO WOULD EVER SAY THAT THIS SMALL GUY FROM THE PHILIPPINES WILL BECOME ONE OF THE GREATEST BOXER IN THE WORLD?
It's not right to say bad things against others just to bully them out and claim you are the greatest. Gayweather can't just bully or outwit pac.Anything he say can't just change or rattle Manny.. Manny will just stand in front of him and change blows, let's see who will buckle..

To be successful is not impossible, to be one of the great is limited only to few but not impossible, but to be one of the greatest on this planet for a man with nothing under his feet running barefoot to achieve his dream is a heartfelt and impossible story that cant be duplicated by anyone in my lifetime.

There were so many brave men in Mindanao especially in the southern most part and Manny is one of them, but he used his braveness to greatness and wanted more to lift his countrymen morale and living conditions if not for everybody but partially for all of his constituents.
Braveness leads to greatness when used it the right way.Greatness knows no boundaries.
Pacman is the "no retreat no surrender" "no fear," "no shy" type of guy

We and my boy floyd jr used to slap girls on the street and grab guys butt. It's kinda like street fighting, there's no difference between him and manny that's why they're both, all-time-great. floyd got from dad and uncle roger, it runs through his blood.
fraudy also did some fighting just like his uncle and father, and that is fighting the opponent in the press. the floydiots also mastered this art, this is called press fighting. the more you do it out of the ring, the less fighting you do inside the ring.
Warrior at heart even great adversity manny believe nothing impossible he is now an icon of boxing histoty one of the greatest boxer of all time.

did you see the rubber that holds Manny's foot in the inclined bench while doing sit-ups? its a used wheel of a bicycle.
i am pretty sure that if the pacman agrees with the demand of the gayweathers about insisting the Olympic style random test, he will go for his plan B, the 60/40 sharing Of PPV buys, if the pacman agrees again they go for plan C, fight will be on the super welterweight 154lbs. if the pacman agrees again then plan D, the pacman will be tied both hands with handcuffs, if he agrees again then proceed to plan E, the pacman will force to fight with blindfolds,...then if the pacman will agree because he will be trained by the martial arts masters blind monks at the shaolin temple, then they go for the plan F, they insist of using body armors vs the naked bodied pacman,hehe...future successive plans still on discovery stage,,,so think twice if you believe that the fight will be happen in the nearest possible time....

I salute your past exploits and hardships that makes what you are now and in this modern times you should and I believe learned to find the best guy possible on your side rain or shine, in hardship and in good fortunes. Maybe you consider Zaldy Du as one of your managers or Assistant Manager.

Manny is such a good boxer and a role model. He is a guy who doesn't have ego (Like Gayweather, who's ego is 10 times of him). A very down to earth person and most of all he share his blessings to us Filipinos. He always thank God for all his blessings. If a boxer is made by God, no one in this world will defeat the goodness in him.
pacman left home to find food for his starving family. he came home a billionaire.
the blessings came so quick...he seems not aware that he's already on top.
people chased the american dream and failed miserably...but pacman is the creation of american dream
