Continued from part one

Tahmoh Penikett is accustomed to being a household name in the Sci-fi genre. He now finds himself part of the ‘Supernatural’ fandom with his brilliant roles as Ezekiel and Gadreel from season nine. Known and loved for his role as Paul Ballard from 'Dollhouse,' Penikett chats about his time on Joss Whedon’s fabulous show.

Q. You’re also known and loved for your role as Paul Ballard in Joss Whedon's under-rated series ‘Dollhouse.’ The series was dark, dramatic, and amazing. What was it like on the set?

A. We were fortunate enough to work with each other for a couple of seasons, when early on it was looking like we might not make it through the first. That said, I had a lot of incredible experiences on set. Worked with some incredibly talented people, firstly Joss Whedon. The man is so smart, funny and has such a specific style of writing. I really felt he was doing something really unique with ‘Dollhouse,’ different than anything he'd done before and at the same time still completely Joss. It was unfortunate the series wasn't able to go at least another season so that he and the rest of talented writers on that show would have been able to see some of the arcs and story lines through. That said, we got 26 episodes and I'm so grateful for them.

All the cast were kind and extremely talented. Veterans like Harry Lenix and Olivia Williams who were often the anchors on set, keeping us focused and on point when the fate of the show was making it hard to do so. Fran, Enver, Miracle, Dichen, Amy and Reed were all a joy to work with. Each one of them true talents. I feel blessed I had the opportunity to work with them all.

Q. If you were a baseball player, what would your walk up song be?

A. ‘Metallica’, ‘Orion’.
