On Feb. 19, sister rock trio Petrel chatted about their upcoming concert dates with pop sensation Aaron Carter, where they will join him on “The After Party Tour.”
The trio of sisters consists of Jess Petrel on lead vocals, Bekah Petrel on keys, drums and vocals, as well as Destiny Petrel on guitar and vocals. They were born and raised in Long Island, New York.
One of their upcoming tour stops will be at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre on March 3. “We cannot wait to play Gramercy,” the trio said with excitement. “We are from New York and playing at home is always the best. When we first started playing together, we were all underage and we played a lot of clubs in the village. We have never played at Gramercy before but we have always wanted to. We are looking forward to it,” they added.
The girls noted that they had met Aaron on an airplane about three years ago. “We joked about possibly touring together one day. Life is funny. It’s going to be a great tour,” the girls concurred.
