Ex-bachelorette Corrie Adamson says she was really upset that the topic of her virginity came up during she and bachelor Jake Pavelka's only one-on-one date.

"That is something that is very personal and it's not something that I go announcing on my first date with guys; not be cause I'm not proud of it, because I am, but because it is personal," she told reporters during a teleconference interview Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010.

Corrie was eliminated from "The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love" on episode five, which aired three days before this interview.

Look back at Corrie's one-on-one date with Jake and her final rose ceremony

While sitting at home, viewers saw an awkward date that ended with talk of the future that brought up Corrie saving herself for marriage. According to Corrie, though, that is not how things played out in real life.

"We were not talking about living together when that question came up... and so, it caught me off guard, and it didn't upset me just because it didn't feel like it was the right timing to be having that conversation, and I didn't think that it should have played a factor in how he saw me," Corrie said.

Corrie doesn't believe that her virginity sent her home, but she does believe that Jake may have taken her being a virgin as her not being experienced. She said she knew going in to that night's rose ceremony that she was going home because the couple's relationship had not developed as quickly as the other women's relationships with Jake.

Although Corrie feels frustrated by the fact that future dates will know something so personal about her because of the show, she said she had no regrets about what happened during filming.

"It was the time of my life... I made some great friends through it, and I think it was a great experience."
