On Feb. 7, country singer Chris Young chatted via telephone about his upcoming concert at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury in Long Island, New York as part of his “Liquid Neon” tour.

“I am really excited about that New York show since people are always asking me to go out there. I think it’ll be great,” the RCA Nashville recording artist said. “It will be about a 75 to 90 minute show and it’ll consist of me and my band performing songs that people would know and we might mix in one or two new songs from the upcoming album,” he added.

Following his show at Westbury, he is slated to perform in such countries as the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.

Throughout his career in country music, Chris Young has won the reality singing competition “Nashville Star” and he scored a Grammy nomination for “Best Male Country Vocal Performance” for his hit single “Gettin’ You Home” and last year he was nominated for “Top Male Vocalist” at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) awards.
