This week on “The Bold and the Beautiful," the show takes viewers through the streets of Paris and Monte Carlo as Hope and Wyatt are there for business. As viewers know, Hope has asked her fiancé, Liam, meet her in Paris for a romantic adventure that she hopes will be an elopement. One problem is Wyatt, Liam's brother. Wyatt is in love with Hope and is hoping that he will be the one she says “I Do” to. Add to that, Wyatt’s unstable mother Quinn wants him to be happy and with Hope at any cost. Will Liam make it to Paris in time to meet Hope? Will Quinn get in the way, causing Hope to think that Liam’s not coming and end their relationship? Will Hope get married and to whom? Watch “The Bold and the Beautiful” to find out.

Daytime TV Examiner caught up with Scott Clifton, who plays Liam, at the General Hospital Fan Club Weekend Past Cast Event earlier this month. (Clifton played Dillon Quartermaine on GH from 2003 to 2007).

Check out the interview with the Emmy winning actor below:

Phyllis: It’s good to see you here.

Scott Clifton: Thanks. It’s great to be here.

Phyllis: What made you decide to come out this afternoon?

Scott Clifton: It was really simple. They sent me an email and said “Do you want to come do this” and I live like two seconds away, so I said “sure.” It was really easy. I got nothing else going on. I have no excuse not to come. It’s an excuse for me to see a lot of fans that I haven't seen in a long time. Granted a lot of fans watch several different shows, but there are few that I haven't seen in a really long time. I thought it might be really cool to reconnect right now

Phyllis: Dillon’s name have been mentioned on GH a couple of times. Are people still asking you if you are coming back?

Scott Clifton: I get that question a lot on social media and Twitter. I'm on contract with CBS and I couldn't do it. At the Emmys this year, I heard a rumor, and I don't know if this is just a rumor or what, but I heard that maybe they were going to recast Dillon. I'm super stoked about that and I would love to see it. I think, regardless of me -- take me out of the picture, I think Dillon is a super interesting character. I would love to see somebody else do that you know. I have my list of like people that I would like to see as Dillon.

Phyllis: That’s perfect. Who would you like to see if you had the opportunity to cast him?

Scott Clifton: Top of my list is John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex, "One Life to Live").

Phyllis: Nice.

Scott Clifton: Yeah,I think he's more naturally Dillon than anybody else is. I have other people [in mind] but they are already doing other things and probably can't…

Phyllis: I love the relationship you seem to have with your former cast mates. You had the opportunity to make friends on both coasts.

Scott Clifton: Yeah it's great. It's something that I don't experience all the time and then as a little treat, I get reminded of it with things like this.

Phyllis: I know you've had some time off from B&B and you're getting ready to come back. What have you been doing on your break?

Scott Clifton: [Watching] lots and lots of TV. I've been like Netflix-ing, binge watching, every little thing that's not healthy…but it's so good.

Phyllis: On “Bold,” you've got the Parisian episodes coming up, actually they’re airing now. How does the Parisian story tie in with the characters in Los Angeles?

Scott Clifton: Yeah, anytime we should stop overseas or on location there's always another story line that's happening. I can't tell you anything but yeah, there will be tie-ins.

Phyllis: Sometimes fans get frustrated when one story is shown and another isn’t shown. Do you hear feedback about that sometimes? How do you feel about that?

Scott Clifton: Yeah…I mean…yeah, I do hear that and I agree. It's hard from a writer’s point of view. You're constantly shuffling story…storylines and but it sure makes it easier to catch up on the show. It's such a short show…it's really only 17 minutes each episode. As writer I think you have this story line at the front but you can’t keep it at the front for too long; so then you’ve got to move this one to the back and you’ve got to bring this one to the front. I don't envy that job -- having to juggle that and no matter what you do you get s*** for it, so what are you going to do? At least we get to blame them (Laughs).

Phyllis: So there's more traveling on the horizon for you—this time it’s [The Netherlands]. What did you think when you heard that [the show] was going over there?

Scott Clifton: I was so…well there had been some rumors about it, but nothing really tangible… sort of rumors or whispers. I heard something about The Netherlands and then they called me up and said “you're going to go.” I honestly don't know if we're shooting anything over there for the show. It's mostly…it’s really the big stage show.

Phyllis: You usually do fan events here in LA. Are the fans overseas different then the fans here in the States?

Scott Clifton: Aside from the language barrier, not really. They’re different in terms of their culture. It’s kind of fun when you get an Italian fan coming up to you and going hello [makes the European greeting of kissing on each cheek]. I go, “Wow! I don't get that often. That's nice. All right. The enthusiasm is the same anywhere you go and that's a nice thing.

Phyllis: How is Liam's relationship with Bill these days? Do you find out all the stuff that happened with Ridge -- Bill's part in it? Do you have conversations with him about his relationship with Brooke?

Scott Clifton: Yeah I think you'll see something about that. I can't say much else, but yeah.

Phyllis: Online fans tease Liam all the time. Why is he always at Forrester? Does he work at Forrester now? Shouldn’t he be at Spencer – working?

Scott Clifton: I know. We joke about that onset too. I'll come into the scene and in rehearsal they’ll be like, “Go home. Go back to your job. What are you doing here?” I don't know…he just hangs around.

Phyllis: When Liam was at that diamond press conference, I wondered why he didn’t just pull out his recorder and just say, “Hey, I'm here and I'm working.”

Scott Clifton: Yeah I know, but the reason for that was that Jarrett was there. So Jarrett takes care of that.

Phyllis: That was a good one.

Scott Clifton: See, eh. I gave you an answer.
