Tonight's new Intervention episode #106 - Vinnie  deals with crack cocaine addiction and airs Monday, January 18th 09:00 pm ET and Tuesday, January 19th 01:00 am ET.

Official Intervention episode description of Intervention Vinnie:

When Vinnie was a boy, his father abused him physically and verbally, leaving his mother feeling helpless. He developed a love for fast-paced sports, including BMX, motocross, and car racing, but his need for speed turned into an addiction to crack cocaine. Now, Vinnie lives in his car with his dog and smokes up to $1,000 worth of crack a week. Vinnie's mother tries to make up for not protecting him when he was younger by giving him money and a place to stay. But Vinnie needs more than that--he needs an intervention.

I would absolutely LOVE to date Vinnie. [:

He broke my heart. I sincerly hope he's fighting the good fight, and living sober. I totally understand his mentality, his family issues, everything. I wanted so badly to reach out to him, drive down from Boston right then.
I'm sincerely touched. I wish him the world.
And I agree, if he cleaned up, he'd be a total catch.

I felt a lot of his issues were mainly with his father, only wanting love and to be accepted by him. It also didn't help his cause that his brother wanted absolutely nothing to do with him, if only to save face. Very much an ahole move. My thoughts are with Vinnie. Nobody wants to see you dead.

I loved Vinnie so much. I could easily relate to the way he was feeling and totally agree that if his cold father would have given him the least bit of affection and acceptance then that would have made him feel worthy. His story truly touched my heart and I was rooting for him throughout the entire show. Vinnie my thoughts and prayers are with you. I wish you life. P.s he is very cute..would love to date him!!

I know that guy. He's a loser. He had it all. His father didn't just abandon him. It was because he was a screw up. He had a sweet job with his dad at his shop, his father gave him everything. At one point he had one of the fastest eclipse in the northeast. Guess who paid for that... his dad. His father wanted him to move forward with his life but Vinnie thought he would have that cushion forever. His dad kepy telling him to stop coasting though life and make his own name for humeslef but he never did. That when he finally cut him off. Don't feel sorry for him. He could have easliy made a differnce but chose not to.

a lot of people don't understand how to deal w/ addicts. his brother acted properly and was not trying to save face. addicts need to be shut out, unsupported and hit rock bottom. this kid, w/ a mother like that (1st class flight back??????????), will never see it. best of luck kid.

I agree. Addicts are really misunderstood. I'm not saying that it's not wrong but once you're hooked it can be hard to turn around. I was addicted to Crack for 15 years and turned myself around. If you know anyone that needs help go to http://www.pressingtheissue.com/2011/01/vaccine-blocks-cocaine-high-in-m.... It is a great resource.

Can someone please just grab him and tell him they love him? I'm not saying that's the one and only solution but through out the whole show his mother, just said " see what you're doing to me?" first of all mom toughen up yourself and stop with the hand outs! Sal let him know you need him to be a brother. He needs to know that he is needed and people need him to get better. Vinnie... my heart ached for you. these shows tend to make me cry anyway but I really felt so disapionted that you didn't get better. You want a family right? I don't blame you at all, but people need to know they can trust you in life befor they can trust you with thier heart. It's not hard to love Vinnie just give in...I really hope that you do get to read these comments and only listen to the ones that want to see you succeed bc no one else matters. Souround yourself with positive people and you too will become more positive in life. happiness is contagous IF YOU LET IT! God bless you an we're cheering for you!

Vinnie: You are such a beautiful person, on the outside - without a doubt, scratches and all, you're absolutely drop-dead (no pun intended) georgeous. On the inside you are beautiful too. Why? Because you are loved. Nothing that is loved is not beautiful from the inside out. You can be a wonderful father. A faithful brother and friend, an honorable husband and provider. You can choose to be all these things. Look at your determination to obtain drugs. Don't you think that same determination could be used for good? Of course it can.I'm so sorry about what I call the "Daddy wound". It is a hurt in our core that can only be healed in one way. Please give me, a complete stranger, the chance to tell you about how my brokenness turned to healing. I love you, Vinnie. You can call me as high as a kite whenever you like: 713-703-3670. I will answer no matter what. You can watch my story on YouTube. Search "Monica's Testimony" and click play all 3 videos. It is 28 minutes in total. Thanks.

Get better. You have a sweet soul. The world needs you.

Vinnie, you're an amazing, cute and charming person. Crack is an ugly, disgusting, hurtful thing. You need help, you should be blessed to recieve the gift of sobriety. Show your family you love them as much as they love you by getting sober.
Vinnie's mom, believe it or not, you need help, too. You didn't want to go get help because you said you might lose your job. Is your job more important then your son's life? There are thousands of jobs in the world, you only have one Vinnie.

There are a lot of people rooting for you. You have nothing to lose, but an entire life you never knew existed to gain.

For Tito - You think you know Vinnie- obviously NOT!!! What his dad can buy him a car? Big deal. How about showing a son love, acceptance, not with toys but with actions. You know nothing! Does someone choose to be an addict? If you knew anything you would know this is not true - so go back to your ghetto neighborhood and think you know all!!

Dear Titto, I think you have quite the misconception of addiction and what a lack of self esteem can do to someone. Having your parents provide u with tangible goods, in this case bikes, but verbally and physically abuse u does have horrific consequences, especially when you're neglected. Case in point-Vinnie. He has a disability and has never been accepted socially or by his family. In this crazy world we rely on our family's unconditional love to fall back on when we've had a rough day. Vinnie never had that, he had a dysfunctional and abusive household to come home to. He doesn't have the tools to cope with what he can't rise above, this is why he turned to drugs because they provided him with solace and numbness to the problems he encountered. Again, I can't even begin to imagine not having friends to help me deal w plaguing problems, let alone no family support or any type of familial network. I think Titto, your comments are horrible and mean and degrading. You should b ashamed.

On a side note, does anyone else see a striking resemblance between Vinnie and a young Bruce Springsteen? While watching this episode, I was struck by how closely he resembled Springsteen. All the more reason to get clean Vinnie!! Good luck, stay strong in your battle against the demons that will plague you along the way and never listen to the likes of imbeciles like 'Titto'. You are clearly charismatic and have invited a loyal legion of people who only wish you the best; you attained all this attention from a one hour broadcast... I'm sure you'll develop great friendships and healthy relationships along the way. If you ever need to talk to anyone, I suggest you contact Monica Abboud, who bravely posted her Phone number in this forum. I can say all this w great certainty w/out ever having even met you bc I have never even taken the time to post a comment on you tube, but I have posted 2 comments on here just to show you that there are people who care about u, who want you to succeed.

Unfortunately ladies, you do not know Vinnie. Just because you saw a show on him doesn't mean squat. What you do know is that he is addicted to crack cocaine--the basis of the show. I wish him and everyone else the best, but he was a hell raiser since birth.

Vinnie- I hope you got back to rehab. I feel so bad that your mother gave-in and took you back again. You are one hot dude, man. Gorgeous Italian man :)

vinnie, i am a frequent watcher of invtervention, mainly because my sister was addicted to crack for 6 years so it really hits home. i was young and stupid at this time of my life and instead of trying to help my sister, i acted as though she was dead. i know now this is wrong & i now have a wonderful relationship with her. she has been sober for 3 years now. i am contacting you to let you know that you can do this. in the hour long epispode i felt a connection with you. i feel terribly that you have been through all of that & that you have felt so alone. i am confident though that if you get sober, or if you have already gotten sober that you will find someone that will love you & accept you for who you are. you seem like a truly compassionate person, i can tell by the way you care about Max so much. your episode touched my heart, & i truly hope from the bottom of my heart that you have gotten clean & found someone to love you & max for who you are. hang in there & take care...

I was a freshman at Vinal Tech with Vinnie. We rode the school bus together and I considered him to be a good friend with a big heart. He truly was one of my favorite people. I always knew there were things that bothered him and my heart always went out to him, I just never told him that. I just found out about his situation last night so I looked up the episode to see if it was true.~ Vinnie, I am so sorry that you are going threw this. I wish there was something I could do to help you. It broke my heart to see you like that! I pray that you have gotten strong and kicked the habit. A close family member of mine went threw the same thing and it broke everyones heart. Its hard to know the right things to say and do in that kind of situation. A lot of times we did things that just pushed my family member away even more when all we wanted to do was help. Vinnie, I hope that you can see the wonderful person I always knew you were. Your family would not have had the intervention for you if they didn't care about you wether what they said was wrong or right. My point is people love you and want to see you succeed. Keep your head up and be strong. I will keep you in my prayers. I hope that you get to read this and are able to figure out who I am. Its been a long time since I've seen you but I never forgot about you and I never will.
