Shane is a "talented cellist and aspiring music producer" who has stranded off of his gifted musical path into the depths of prescription drug addiction.
"He wasn’t just my father, he was my best friend," says Shane. After his father's death, Shane's life started spiraling out of control at a rapid rate "a really drastic decline." He still isn't over it, as he consumes OxyContin and deals drugs out of his grandmother's home, which is terrifying to her. "If anything goes wrong with these drug deals" she says "they can retaliate against me." Shane became addicted after injuring his neck in a car accident. His father, also, was a drug addict and died of an overdose. Can Shane's loved ones save his life with an intervention? Jeff Van Vonderen is the interventionist.
Intervention #112 "Shane" airs Monday, March 1st 9/8c on A & E.
