High pressure will continue to control the weather across northern Ohio today. Low pressure will remain nearly stationary near the Mid Atlantic coast. Clouds associated with the coastal storm will gradually spread westward across eastern Ohio today, but precipitation associated with the system should remain to our east.
It will be partly cloudy today with high temperatures around 70 degrees.
Tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy with lows around 50.
On Saturday, clouds will continue to spread westward in association with the east coast system. Moisture will also begin to increase. I still think we will see mainly dry conditions, with just a slight chance of a sprinkle, mainly across the south and east. Highs on Saturday will be around 70.
Models are a little quicker with a cold front which is now expected to approach from the west Saturday night and cross the area on Sunday. It will be mostly cloudy Saturday night with a slight chance of a shower. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower. Highs will be in the upper 60s.
High pressure will build across the area Monday and Tuesday, bringing a return to fair weather. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny both days. Highs on Monday will be in the 60s, with highs on Tuesday around 70 degrees.
A stronger cold front will approach the area Tuesday night and Wednesday bringing with it the threat of showers for mid week.
