Despite making an extremely hateful remark towards gay men yesterday, Azealia Banks will not be dropped from Interscope. This has been confirmed by PopOverdose as well as other websites.
Azealia apparently has no problem using the "F" word to describe gay men as she has made no apology. Many gay websites have denounced the rapper and now the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation group slammed the rapper for using the name during an online spat with superstar Perez Hilton.
In a written statement published on their website, GLAAD said the following: "Banks’ claim that the word "faggot" doesn't mean a gay male is not true. Regardless of her intent or her personal definition, what matters is the meaning given to that word by those who hear it, and the damage it causes when they do."
