You are a human being composed of more than just a physical body. Your thoughts, words, emotions, beliefs, values, attitudes, actions, and relationships contribute to your whole being.
Though these elements may feel like separate aspects of yourself, they are also interrelated and held together by your core soul essence.
Understanding how your emotions can influence your thoughts or how personality affects your relationships, for example, can help you accept and love the consummate person you are now and are becoming.
When you examine yourself and honestly delve into your true character, morals, and priorities, you become more accountable for the life you are living and creating.
Your authentic self can also help you be true to your dreams, learn about areas that can be improved, and develop connections based on mutual consideration and love.
Holistically, you can evaluate your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and underlying purposes with respect to any person, place, situation, or environment you attract into your life.
Moreover, your true self can be exposed when you confidently admit your strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, and personal preferences for things such as food, music, exercise, television, or pets.
Looking at how your mind, body, heart, and soul react to certain suggestions can help you determine if they are healthy to pursue or just to let them go.
In certain situations, does your gut tell you to beware or do you feel a sense of peace? Do you feel in your heart that one person is your true love or does another make your skin crawl? Rationally, is a particular move smart or would you be putting yourself in a bigger hole? Does someone's advice bring you closer to or further away from your calling or purpose?
When you go about your day, think of your holistic self as more than just a human person haphazardly wandering through life and whose thoughts or beliefs don't matter.
Believe in yourself that you are here and are just as deserving as anyone else to possess and cultivate your own unique interests, passions, abilities, and preferences.
Then take a look at those preferences and see if they can be developed into something more. What can you do further to reach a greater potential - to love more, to learn more, and to be more?
This is where personal growth and self-improvement stems. Love and accept yourself now but know there is always room for improvement as humans.
Working to better all aspects of yourself while maintaining authenticity can be fun, rewarding, inspiring, and enlightening.
