International Students for Liberty Conference: Preview

On Friday, February 15th, 2013, over 2,000 students will be attending the 6th annual International Students for Liberty Conference (ISFLC) in Washington, D.C. Over the past 6 years, ISFLC has grown from a few hundred students to an astounding 2,642 attendees from across the country and Europe. The Liberty Movement is seemingly very popular amongst college students and the ISFLC serves as a representation of its massive growth.

Last year, the ISFLC hosted Silicon Valley investor Peter Thiel as a keynote speaker and will be hosting Whole Food’s CEO, John Mackey this year. Students will have the opportunity to network with others, gain awareness of various opportunities within the liberty movement, attend seminars about liberty in society, and simply enjoy their weekends in the district. Students will also have a chance to watch the filming of Fox Business Channel show, Stossel by John Stossel.

The ISFLC serves as a learning experience for many students as those in attendance come from various Students for Liberty chapters across the country. ISLFC hopes to influence these students as best as possible and help cultivate leaders out of them.

The Liberty Movement continues to grow each and everyday. It serves as one of the fastest growing political ideologies and there is a bright future ahead for them.
