It is a common event for a U.S. president to make a speech before the United Nations General Assembly. All those in attendance prevaricate what other nations should do and procrastinate what others want them to do. They strut about as roosters in a hen house while accomplishing little. This is a spinoff of the former League of Nations created by President Wilson after W.W.1.
How ironic that the Congress of the United States refused to ratify the Treaty leaving no end to W.W.1. Since then the United Nations stands on American soil with most expenses paid by American taxpayers and hosts representatives of countries that would like to see the government and culture of the U.S.A. crumble.
International behavior is of great interest to God. Do not forget that God sees the murder and mayhem executed by terrorists, dictators, and scoundrels. Like individuals, nations have opposite options. Do right or do wrong. In fact, what country or leader see themselves answerable to God? There was such a time. However, now it is one large crapshoot for who has the most power over all the other countries of the world. .
An example of a good national leader was King David. He said, “No king is saved by the size of his army.” (Psalm 33: 12 – 19) A great nation takes God into consideration to do right by its people. Those who ignore such truth have a woeful future ahead.
They will not escape their crimes against humanity and their practices of wickedness latched onto the hearts of children. There will come a time when every person and every nation will answer to the Almighty Father and Lord (Revelation 7:9). God’s RSVP will not be ignored!
