Valentine’s Day may be over, but “Heartbeat,” a touring non-profit music group, shows their love for music and the community throughout Massachusetts from Saturday, February 23 through Sunday, February 26!
"Heartbeat" is touring the United States for the very first time. Made up of Arab and Jewish musicians from ages 17 through 21, their mission is to promote harmony, understanding, and peace through inspiring workshops and live concert performances.
During the workshops, artists will share their background and experiences. Their live concert performances include a combination of traditional and contemporary Eastern and Western music. Having toured through Israel, Palestine, and Germany, “Heartbeat” kicked off their US tour in Vermont on Thursday, February 21 and will perform at 15 venues throughout Massachusetts, Maine, New York City, Washington, DC and Pennsylvania. On Saturday, February 23, “Heartbeat” will perform at the First Parish Church, 20 Lexington Road in Concord, Massachusetts at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, February 24, “Heartbeat” will travel to Clark University’s Higgins University Center, 12 Maywood Street in Worcester, Massachusetts at 5 p.m. “Heartbeat” will then visit Boston University at BU Central at Sherman Union, 775 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday, February 25 at 7:30 p.m. The Massachusetts tour will conclude at the Levin Ballroom at Brandeis University, 415 South Street in Waltham, Massachusetts on Tuesday, February 26 at 7 p.m. Click here to see the full US tour schedule.
