International 'Iron Man 3' trailer offers up new footage

We've seen Disney's co-financing deal with China on Iron Man 3 play out in different ways. The story has a distinct Asian flavor, which goes beyond just having the Mandarin as the primary villain. Beijing was the site of filming for awhile, and the cast includes Chinese stars Fan Bingbing and Wang Xueqi. Both starred in last year's historical epic, Sacrifice, which I highly recommend seeking out.

Earlier today we received the breathtakingly awesome new Iron Man 3 trailer, but the folks in China received something a little different. While their cut is basically the same, it's clearly geared to appeal to the international market as it includes glimpses of Bingbing and Xueqi that we didn't get. It's not much, but it gives you a chance to see Tony's Hulkbuster armor in action again.

Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black, and opens on May 3rd.
