As we already know by now, every season means another show for the favorite son of fashion. With every show, no matter what the contents, the reviews will be stellar. The “real” people who view the show might not comprehend the reviews as the words rarely reflect the reality of the visuals. It is as we say a new edition of the “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”
Rather than do a usual and somewhat normal review of the fall 2013, I thought it might be more fun to compose a telegram which highlights the presentation of last evening. It was, in fact, the show that closed New York Fashion Week. Have a read and have a look and let me know what you think….
Urgent! Telegram for Mr. Jacobs! Urgent!

P.S. “In fact, this was perhaps the most overtly glamorous collection Jacobs has ever done, rendered with a moody gentility that transported it far beyond the banal, his invocation of “familiarity” notwithstanding.”… STOP! ... Told ya! … And one more from another blinded critic “Only Marc could turn a bout of melancholy and such simple clothes into the show of the week.” … Stop! … Hahahaha … Stop! … It’s good to be king!
