International Documentary Challenge offers filmmakers opportunities at success

The International Documentary Challenge is a short documentary competition in its ninth year.

Filmmakers from all over the world world have five days to make a short four to seven minute non-fiction film.

The top 12 films are determined by a panel of judges and premiere at the largest documentary film festival in North America, Hot Docs in Toronto.

The Doc Challenge short film competition allows film students, emerging filmmakers and seasoned pros the opportunity to make a great documentary in just five days and be eligible to win $4500 in cash, $1500 in services and screen at festivals.

This year's final registration deadline is February 15, 2014 with a fee of $200. Registration is limited to 300 participants. Fees are per team.
