Intermediate 20 Minute Bodyweight Spring Fitness Workout - Camel's Back Park

Summer is just around the corner, spring has sprung, it is time to shed your winter insulation and get outside.

The most efficient way to burn fat and build muscle is with resistance interval training. Building lean muscle

increases the amount of calories you burn even when you are not exercising by raising your Basil Metoblic Rate (BMR).

20 Minute Bodyweight Interval Workout

Complete each movement with maximum intensity for the prescribed repititions (reps), with no rest in between movements. Once you have completed all exercises in the circuit 1 time rest for 1 minute. Repeat for as many times as possible in 20 minutes.

Warm Up

Jumping Jacks x 30 reps

Squats x 15 reps

Push Ups x 10 reps

Overhead Lunges (Hands reaching to the sky) x 12 reps each leg

Exercise Circuit

Jump Squats x 10 reps

Push Ups x 10 reps

Lunge Jump x 10 reps each leg

Chin Ups on Monkey Bars(Palms facing you on the bar) x 8 reps

Sprint Up Camel's Back Hill as far as possible (only do 1 rep every circuit on these) x 1 sprint

Rest 1 minute

Each time you perform this workout attempt to complete more rounds of the exercise circuit, with good form, in the

allotted 20 minutes.
