John Bush was named Interim coach while Cordova officials sorted out the football vacancy.
On Friday they removed the interim tag and selected Bush as the new head football coach replacing William Johnson.
"I'm really excited about the opportunity because I have been at the school the last five years and I love the community and the kids," Bush said.
"I have some ideas on how we can get this program turned around in the right direction."
Bush led the Wolves to a 1-9 record in 2012 on a Interim basis after then head coach William Johnson was suspended pending a Memphis City schools internal investigation for playing an ineligible player at the jamboree last August.
Johnson was later fired after the internal investigation by the Memphis City Schools.
Bush, a former probation officer before he got in to education has been at Cordova the last five years including the last several years as Offensive Coordinator.
Before coming to Cordova, Bush was an assistant coach at Kingsbury.
"I have always been a Offensive Coordinator so to be able to get a head coaching job is very special especially at a great place like Cordova," Bush said.
