- If you're interested in all things Nordic, check out Budd Lake NJ's Scandinavian Fest, which celebrates the cultures of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Norway, and Sweden. It's certainly sure to be a different approach than the typical Labor Day weekend BBQ. The festival takes place on September 1, and will offer tons of delicious Nordic food and baked goods. There's also a promised ABBA tribute band, which is a good enough reason for attending.
- If a parade is more your style, check out South Plainfield's 56th Annual Labor Day Parade. Taking place on Monday the 2nd, the parade also includes a 5k run, and will end at night with a huge fireworks show. This year's theme is "Jersey Strong."
Wherever you decide to go, be sure to have a great Labor Day weekend!
