You may think that if you tried one type of tea to release your stress then you tried them all, but this is not necessarily true. Every person reacts differently to different types of herbal teas and what might work for one person might not necessarily work for another person.

Herbal teas have become increasing popular over the years and if you walk down the supermarket aisle in the tea aisle you’ll find a tea for almost every condition you can imagine, but for stress here are a few that are known to be very effective. Learn how sipping the right kind of tea could cure your anxiety, headaches and insomnia almost instantaneously.

For anxiety: Passionflower Tea - Passionflower has the flavone chrysin, which provides anti-anxiety benefits. It works well for people with anxiety who suffer from obsessive thoughts. This is a great tea to try right before bed to help you relax and fall asleep.

For sleep or insomnia: Valerian Root Tea - If you are having trouble falling asleep at night consider trying Valerian Root. The natural compounds in valerian root are used as a sedative. This may help you relax and fall asleep faster. Valerian Root helps people to relax and makes people sleepy. Try drinking Valerian Root Tea about an hour before bed to help you get a good night sleep.

For Headaches: Ginger Tea - Ginger works as an anti-inflammatory agent blocking prostaglandins. These chemical messengers cause a swelling in the brain. Ginger Tea reduces the inflammation in about the same amount of time, as it would take an aspirin to work. Drink a cup of Ginger Tea when you are experiencing a headache and watch how quickly it goes away.
