If any aspect of Puppeteer's excellence stood out, it was undoubtedly its imaginative art direction. Shortly before its September 2012 release, Sony sent some of the Puppeteer review copies in 28-page hardcover art books. Not only does it feature concept art of some of the game's most memorable scenes, but the book also has a space to hold the game disc. While the majority of gaming promotional items are forgettable chotchkies, the Puppeteer promo art book was one of the exceptions in 2012.
